It's important to note that the timer itself only has Bluetooth connectivity. The Wi-Fi hub acts as a bridge, connecting the timer to your home's Wi-Fi network. The distance between the timer and the Wi-Fi hub can reach up to 49.2 feet in an open area without interference.

If you're unable to control the gateway while away from the timer, ensure that you have first added the Gateway to the app, then added the valve controller under the Gateway portal.
